A jigsaw puzzle is a work of art, composed of many different shaped
pieces that fit together to form one beautiful picture. This is a great
illustration of how we each have a place in God's "jigsaw puzzle" of
ministry. Each of us is unique, with special talents and abilities that
no one else possesses. By God's design, you have been gifted in many
diverse areas, and God's plan for ministry is not complete without you!
You were shaped for serving God.
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve
others..." 1 Peter 4:10
At Church in the Farms, we have numerous ministries where you can
serve using the abilities God has given you.
:: FIRST CONNECTIONS
1st impressions are often the most lasting impressions made. Our
“First Connections” ministries exist to welcome each person when they
first arrive. This is the first point of contact people have at Church
in the Farms. These ministries
include parking lot attendants, welcome center workers, greeters,
ushers, and CitF café volunteers.
:: CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Children's ministry at Church in the Farms seeks to reach the
children of our community and help them grow in the knowledge of Christ
through Bible-based, age appropriate, structured learning activities.
Sunday mornings are exciting times for kids to learn about Jesus in a
fun, interestingly and (most importantly) understandable way. Sunday
School is offered for 4 year-olds through Kindergarteners, and
Children’s Church is offered to 1st – 5th graders.
:: WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
Church in the Farms Preschool ministry seeks to develop children
academically, spiritually, socially and physically. Using a hands-on
curriculum that teaches Biblical character and values, the Preschool
ministry seeks to prepare every child for Kindergarten, and a life fully
devoted to Jesus Christ.
:: AWANA
AWANA is a Bible-based children's ministry similar to the Boy/Girl
Scouts for ages 3 years old through 5th Grade. AWANA's goal is to reach
boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
AWANA meets on Sundays from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
Additional activities include a campout, AWANA Grand Prix, and Bible
Quizzing.
:: CHILDREN’S VACATION
BIBLE SCHOOL
Join us every summer for a week long intensive children's
Bible study designed to reach children with the love of Jesus Christ.
Activities include Bible stories, music, arts and crafts, drama, games,
recreation, and more. Volunteers are needed in every area and for the
Friday evening Family Night.
:: STUDENT MINISTRY
Student ministry at Church in the Farms is on the move! Students
meet
during the 11:00 worship service on Sunday mornings in the Student Center for a worship service all
their own. Wednesday night brings a new challenge night, and small groups
meet during the week in homes. Come with us as we minister to the 6th
through 12th grade students in our community.
:: MEN’S MINISTRY
The men's ministry at Church in the Farms provides a place where
men can find friendship and strengthen their spiritual walk with other
men through Bible stidy, accountability, prayer, retreats, and ministry
projects. Our men's ministry is designed to grow Godly men and equip
them to meet the challenges of today's world through weekly small
groups, monthly men’s breakfasts, annual retreats, conferences, and
sporting events. A weekly men’s small group is offered on Friday
mornings at 6:00 at CitF, and men's breakfasts are held several times
per year.
:: WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Women's ministry seeks to spiritually, emotionally, and physically
meet the needs of the women in our church and the community. Share
faith, family, and friendship through Bible study and ladies events.
Weekly small groups are offered for women of all walks of life.
Quarterly “Women of Worship (WOW)” events are held, featuring inspiring
praise and worship and challenging speakers to deepen women’s walk of
faith. Annually, several retreats and conferences are offered.
:: SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups seek to care, encourage, train, and teach the Bible in
an intimate home fellowship setting. Small Groups are a great way to get
to know people at Church in the Farms. Numerous study topics are offered
each session.
:: CROSSPOINT COUNSELING
Crosspoint counseling is a Biblically based counseling ministry for
all ages and family situations. Our goal is to help people move towards
personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability, and
spiritual maturity. Lay counselors must undergo in-depth, extensive
training.
:: MISSIONS TEAM
The Missions Team at CitF creates awareness of how every member can
be involved with making a difference locally and around the world. This
special group of people with a passion for the Great Commission plans
the involvement of CitF in missions organizations, coordinates mission
trips, and educates CitF members about what’s happening across the
globe.
:: FALL FEST/TRUNK or TREAT
Fall Fest/Trunk or Treat is a safe and fun Halloween alternative for the Jupiter
Farms Community with a fair like atmosphere. Activities include crafts,
games, Trunk-or-Treat, a concession stand, bounce house, and an obstacle
course.
:: PRAYER MINISTRY
Providing prayer support for our church and community is the top
priority of the Church in the Farms prayer ministry. Opportunities
include Pastor's Prayer Partners (weekly prayer requests via email), the
prayer chain (urgent requests by phone), and special prayer events.
:: SPORTS MINISTRY
Using sports as common ground, the sports ministry shares the
gospel with people and families in our community. Teams include men's
and co-ed softball, ladies aerobics, co-ed flag football, racquetball,
running, volleyball, radio control car racing, karate/self-defense, and
a yearly fishing tournament. Or form your own sports team!
:: WORSHIP MINISTRY
The worship ministry, comprised of worship leaders, praise team
singers, and the band, leads worshippers every Sunday through inspiring
music to give glory and honor and praise to God. All that we do at CitF
depends upon worship.
The
worship music at Church in the Farms is joyful and contemporary…the kind of music
you’ll hear on local Christian radio station 88.1 WAY FM. Our worship
team keeps one thing in mind: worship MUST be Christ centered, and not
a performance for entertainment. The goal of every worship service is
to devote our attention, our emotions, and our lives toward Jesus
Christ. |
