YOUR
FIRST VISIT
@ CHURCH in the FARMS
A Casual Friendly
Environment
On your
first visit to Church in the Farms, you’ll immediately
notice a CASUAL ATMOSPHERE full of JOYFUL people.
The
Church in the Farms family loves the South Florida
environment. You’ll first encounter the FRONT PORCH —
the action center of our ministries. On the front
porch you can grab a cup of coffee, catch up with a friend,
sign up for ministries and Bible studies, or get your hands
on a CD of last week’s message.
We have a WELCOME
CENTER staffed by FRIENDLY PEOPLE who will make sure you’re
greeted and know where everything is.
What’s for my
children?
All of
Church in the Farms worship services feature a full service
of children’s activities, including nursery care for
children through two years-old, Children’s Sunday School
through second grade, and Children’s Church for children through fifth grade.

here for more info on Children’s ministries at CitF.
Students
(middle and high school) have a worship service all their
own during the 11:00 worship service. They'll worship and hear the Bible
taught in a unique way that connects with their world,
strengthens them for peer pressure, and excites and
encourages them to live for Christ all week.

What does it sound
like?
The
worship music at Church in the Farms is joyful and
contemporary…the kind of music you’ll hear on local
Christian radio station 88.1 WAY FM. Our worship team keeps
one thing in mind: worship MUST be Christ centered, and not
a performance for entertainment. The goal of every worship
service is to devote our attention, our emotions, and our
lives toward Jesus Christ.
What will
they say?
The
messages that you’ll hear from Pastor Steve Stewart will
connect the Bible to situations you encounter everyday.
Steve's
teaching style explains the Bible instead of yelling it. At
Church in the Farms, the Bible is our standard for our
beliefs and behaviors, and is truth for our lives. Our
desire on Sunday mornings is to help you connect with God
through the Bible by introducing it’s time-honored, relevant
truths in a practical, understandable way.
Listen to messages
If
you attend a worship service at Church in the Farms, you
won’t be singled out. We don’t make people stand up and
introduce themselves, or wear a bright ribbon on their
shirt, or talk out loud. You’re free to come and explore
Church in the Farms at your own pace. We want you to be
comfortable enough to worship and listen without the fear of
being singled out.
How should I
dress?
One last
word: the dress code is casual (but decent…hey, in South
Florida we have to add that) If jeans and a "Guy Harvey"
shirt is your thing --, wear ‘em.
Following your first visit, you’ll have the opportunity to
let us know if we can help you further. Using the
“Communication Card” found in your worship program, you can
let us know if you want information on becoming a member, on
our ministries, or about any spiritual matters. Also, at
the end of the message, you’ll have the opportunity to begin
the Christian life by putting your faith in Jesus Christ.
