At Church in the Farms our mission for children’s ministry
is to help lay the foundation for a lifetime of living and
maturing in Christ. Our goal is to encourage kids in a
growing, loving relationship with Jesus Christ and others in
an atmosphere where they feel a sense of belonging.
We offer a fun, safe environment and we teach through songs,
stories and active play. We understand that children are at
an amazing stage in preparation for a lifetime of ministry
and we feel privileged to play a part in their development.
We also sponsor special events that offer fun for the whole
family, which will be listed in the church calendar.
All of our volunteers have met a rigorous background check.
Unless otherwise noted, The Nursery, Sunday School and
Jesus’ Crown Theater (our Children’s Church) are offered
every weekend during every service. |

A W A N A :::
AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) engages children
with the Bible through story, memorization, and play.
Children learn best when they are in a fun, encouraging and
loving environment. Our AWANA program provides such a
place. We provide AWANA on Sundays from 5:30pm – 7:00pm
throughout the school year. AWANA activities also feature
the annual AWANA Campout and the annual AWANA Grand Prix. |

CHILDREN'S
CHURCH :::
(Church for grades 1-5)
Children's Church
on Sunday mornings during each worship service is designed
specifically for elementary-aged children and includes
praise and worship,
games, living
lessons and scripture memory. We encourage children to
participate in our Sunday programs and follow-up at home
with their parents through take home activity pages. |

Nursery: : :
(birth through
2 years)
Our Nursery is located just down the hall from the
Sanctuary, which means you are never far from your child.
During services, your child will be in the care of several
trained volunteers and Church in the Farms staff members,
all of whom meet rigorous background standards. We’ve taken
great care to prepare our nursery to be the best environment
for your child, with age appropriate toys and an opportunity
to safely interact with others. |

Sunday School: : :
(2 years through Kindergarten)
Our Sunday School program is located in the same building as
the Sanctuary. We provide a group-driven atmosphere, which
keeps your child busy. We use a variety of ways to teach
them about Jesus and His love. Through stories, crafts,
Bible action songs and other activities, we desire to reach,
evangelize and teach children about God. |

Vacation Bible School:
: :
We host a five-day Vacation Bible School each summer. This
is a fun and inspirational event for your children to
attend. They will have the opportunity to learn about God’s
love through Bible lessons, crafts, music, skits and
recreation. The entire family is included on Family Night
featuring the songs and skits the children have been working
on all week. We ask everyone to stay after for fun with
bounce houses, games, prizes and delicious food. Don’t miss
this amazing experience!

Children’s Summer Camp:::
We invite your children to join us for a summertime get-away
that will leave them with cherished memories and prepare
them to begin a life of faith in Jesus. This Christ
centered camp is packed with fun and growth through learning
bible lessons in a small group setting, inspirational
worship music and application style recreation. Your
children will have the opportunity to make new friends and
meaningful relationships. They will want to attend
every
year.

children entering grades 3rd
to 6th.
