KNOWGROWGO @ CHURCH in the FARMS
Growing in your understanding of faith at Church in the
Farms is as easy as 1, 2, 3. |
|
 |
|
Well…okay…maybe as easy as 101, 201, 301, and 401.
At CitF,
we use small, progressive courses that help you understand
your faith at your own pace, and in bite-sized pieces.
Faith is big. God is even bigger. We know you want a
strong faith in God, and want to understand more from month
to month, from year to year. Our 101-401 courses will help.
|
 |
101: Believe and Belong:::
This
course introduces you to the Christian faith, and to
membership at Church in the Farms. You’ll learn about our
ministries, our staff, our vision, our mission, and our
beliefs. You’ll learn how to get involved, and you’ll learn
about baptism. |
 |
201: Know and Grow:::
The
objective of this course is to introduce you to basic growth
principles of the Christian faith: knowing what kind of
Bible is right for you and how to read it, how to pray, and
how to grow in healthy, effective relationships with others
who build up your faith. You’ll be introduced to small
groups, and other growth opportunities at CitF.
|
 |
301: Share and Serve:::
Ever
wonder how God must have gifted you? Why you have a passion
about certain things? What your experiences must be leading
to, and how God may use you in His plan? This course
explores that and how to plug those gifts into ministry and
service at CitF. You’ll take a spiritual gifts inventory to
help you discover how God may have “wired” you.
|
 |
401: Out and About:::
This
course will help you discover the easiest way to talk to
others about something as sensitive and personal as
faith and belief. You’ll learn strategies for
talking to others about Christianity, how to
relationally build bridges, and how to be involved in
changing the world with Church in the Farms.
|
|
The
101-401 classes at CitF are designed to give you an exposure
to growing and maturing as a follower of Jesus Christ. Each
course is four hours in length, and offered multiple times
each year. However, they will only expose you to growth
strategies. From here, you can join a small group, become
involved in ministries, start connecting in healthy
relationships, and become involved in missions. There’s no
substitute for all of those in a growing, healthy faith. |
